Kiichiro Ogawa "confinement art"

―――――――――――――

On the first day, I painted an ant on Yves Saint Laurent.

His trip to France was postponed due to the COVID-19 epidemic, and from April 7, when a state of emergency was declared, he shut himself up at home and continued to create one work every day.

A record of art that Kiichiro Ogawa, an artist who is active around the world, including collaborations with FENDI, continued to face for 45 days.

========

An artist can only protect himself with what is produced within himself.

--Kiichiro Ogawa

★ Kiichiro Ogawa

At the age of 6, he was strongly influenced by the images of punk rockers painting skeletons on black motorcycle jackets.

While working on artwork for hotels in Japan and overseas, he has recently been active overseas, starting with artwork for Marriott Group hotels, a solo exhibition in Paris, and being appointed to a fashion brand in Paris.

Among them, he was selected as one of the world's five collaboration artists with FENDI, and announced the world's only PEEKABOO bag at Design Miami in December 2018.

He thinks that living itself is art, everyone is an artist, and he wants to convey to as many people as possible how wonderful it is to enjoy life.
