★Ryu Kimura Profile

1950……Born in Kumamoto.

1969……Come to Tokyo. While doing things like drawing portraits, he aims to become a painter.

1974……From around this time, exhibited paintings at Nakano Broadway Gallery and other venues.

1982-……The first dolls were exhibited at the Harajuku Daily Planet. Through this exhibition, he became acquainted with Mr. Jin Yamamoto and Mr. Katan Amano, and later interacted with Mr. Ryo Yoshida and Ms. Koitsukihime, narrowing down his direction to dolls.

Since then, Matsuya (Ginza), Sunshine (Ikebukuro), Mitsukoshi (Yokohama), Seibu (Ikebukuro), Gallery Nakama (Denenchofu), Somebana (Shibuya), Gre (Kichijoji), Dolls Exhibition (Ginza), Dentsu Gallery (Ginza) etc.

1990-……Commissioned work for Sakichi Kataoka's "Maria no Heart".

2012〜……Solo exhibition at Zaroff (Hatsudai). Since then, Zaroff has participated in many exhibitions, and holds a solo exhibition at the end of each year.
