●Ichibun Sugimoto

1947 Born in Fukui Prefecture.

In 1971, he was in charge of the cover art for Masafumi Yokomizo's "Yatsuhakamura" (Kadokawa Shoten). After this, he worked on many book covers for Seishi Yokomizo, Ryo Hanmura, Takao Tsuchiya, Shotaro Ishinomori, Kazuo Umezu, Kenta Nishimura, Karihisa, Kazuo Koike, and Goyu Kojima.

In 1997, at the age of 50, he started making copperplate prints.

Since then, he has held numerous group exhibitions and illustration exhibitions.
