TAKADA Minae "Alice in Miniature Garden"

A long-awaited collection of works that summarizes the trajectory of Minae Takada, from tableaus using mixed techniques to copperplate engravings!

========

A beautiful new girl has appeared here.

A sigh leaks before this speculative girl with her melancholy.

A miniature garden is a miniature garden, but Alice in the miniature garden gradually increases its presence, surpassing her life-size, and the inner dream world drifts densely.

While hiding her death by his side...

-- Shuji Tateishi

========

Anyone looking at Takada's works should notice something.

Along with the lovely girl, it almost always has a foreign motif that is unsuitable for shoujo-ga.

This is a direction that has not changed since the era of "poetry and fairy tales", and often a slightly grotesque image coexists in poetry, such as a bird's foot or a close-up of an insect, which is not suitable for poetry.

This feature can be seen in the series of childish paintings of girls who snuggle up to skeletons in this collection of works.

......

In Takada's garden, there are rabbit holes that lead to the underworld here and there, so be very careful.

--Takashi Kitami
