Ken'ichi Murata "Goddess in Their Hideaways"

The girls, dressed as girls, overwhelmingly broke the shell of that image and stood beautifully like a "goddess".

The power of Eros and Thanatos gave me the feeling of being liberated from my closed girlishness.

--Kana Otsuki (artist)

========

Kenichi Murata continues to express a unique world of taboos such as "Sleeping Beauty", "Pandora's Key", "Lilith of Sakashima", "Shoujo Kannon", "Angel Collection", and "Moon Magic".

The world of girls, where magical Eros and Thanatos and fairy-like lyricism are mixed, attracts many fans regardless of gender.

In this "Goddess' House", we think about the goddesses that have been buried from history, and superimpose them on modern girls.

========

I think of the goddesses who have been removed from the object of worship, who have lost their relationship with people and live quietly in an old shrine.

Hundreds and thousands of years later, the goddesses playing alone sometimes play heavenly music, and when they pray for fertility, they open up the cunt of the woman. It may be that he is trying to imitate God by trying to get close to people.

I tried to draw such a dream.

Because that is my animism (primitive religion) and my icon (sacred painting).
