――――――――

A work is like a child for an artist.

"Shinjuko" is my selfish, capricious, precious daughter whom I and her husband gave birth to and raised.

――――――――

For 20 years, I always wanted to be a beginner and always challenged myself.

When I was looking at photos from 20 years ago, it was like a letter from the past.

I had been writing letters to my future self.

――――――――

Includes "From my daughter. Shinjuko 26 years old-20 years of an artist-", which looks back on the trajectory of Shinjuko's 20 years with her photos.

In addition, 36 sheets of "Onna Kyoushi Shinjuko" are included as a special package.

◎ Shinjuko http://yan-oki.com/

Born in Amakusa in 1976. She lived in a rhythm far removed from the city center, so when she was 24, she came to Tokyo to convey emotions that modern people have forgotten.

She creates pictures (mainly watercolors rooted in Japanese calligraphy), animations (digital), and is in charge of all the visuals for Gwen Stefani's solo debut in 2005. The following year she held a solo exhibition "Ready for Lady" at the Contemporary Art Museum, Kumamoto. In 2012, she held the "Yonanya Mizoka-chan" ceramic art exhibition at Shibuya PARCO, Tokyo. She flexibly develops her expression using tools that match the voice of the times. In 2017, she was sent to Vienna for the Agency for Cultural Affairs Overseas Media Arts Festival to screen animation works.

She is currently doing embroidery production and animation Youtube distribution by communicating with viewers.

She wants people to remember the "innocent mind" that modern people are forgetting.
